More Fish

Today we got more fish. I love fish so much I could eat it all day. Me and the girls agree on this, fish if fresh can only be eaten in one way and that is raw. Forget about grilling or whatever else humans have come up with over the last 10000 years or so. Fish wants to be eaten fast and cooking is just one process between fish and my tummy that is not necessary. So we got more fish from our friend Nakawaki and this time I was doing the sashimi cutting. (I will put up a cooking section on this blog with lots of pictures and instructions soon) First you need to skin the fish and then you fillet it. Next  you remove the bones in the fillet by finely cutting it in two halves, removing the strip of bones in the middle of the fillet. Finally slice by lightly supporting with your finger. One must on piss about too much at this stage to avoid warming up the fish by touching and handling (fresh….). And then…

various sashimi layed out on table.

Feast!

In the end even cutting is overly elaborate.
